Good evening!

I do hope everyone has had a great weekend and that you had the opportunity to thank a Veteran of our military on Veterans Day! Our military and their families are a special breed of people that we should feel honored to know. We must never forget the sacrifices made on our behalf!
Well, I just want to say how much I loved all the images that we had to work with on this challenge from CDAC.  I can't get over all the talent that these ladies have!  I had so much fun making my cards and I know I will continue to enjoy having these digis in my stock.  I hope you like my cards as much as I like putting them together.

Blessings

Lovely tree

Good evening,

Hope everyone is having a great week!  Can you believe that it is already November?!?!?  I have been trying to get some Christmas cards made and trust me I am  not nearly as far along as I wish.  Somehow when Sept. rolls around then I blink and it is Thanksgiving.  Oh well.....we do the best we can. :)  Here is my card for the ongoing challenge over at Delightful Inspiration.  It is a lovely digi and I can think of a dozen uses for how to use this one.  I hope you like the card!

Autumn Mums

Good Evening,

Well it is really going to feel like fall here by tomorrow as we are not suppose to get out of the 60's. So this weeks image from Delight Inspiration was perfect!  I love the rich color of mums and how they pop on a clear fall day.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets to spend time with their families!  Blessings.

Happiness Blooms

Good Evening,

Hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying the cooler weather.  As much a I enjoy warm weather, I was really getting tired of 90's everyday!!  With the arrival of fall, I look forward to cool crisp days and the changing of the leaves.  Of course I will be ready for spring by the end of Feb. ;) A change of season is always special and I hope everyone finds something to enjoy!  Here is my card for the ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration this week.  I did start out paper piecing this one but I didn't like the way it came out so I started over with just coloring the image instead.  As much as I enjoying piecing one I just couldn't get this one to turn out the way I wanted it to.  If you like the image be sure to check out Delightful Inspiration on the first Friday at the beginning of the month and you will have a chance to pick up a free image and join the ongoing challenge if you enter a card every week.  I love all their images and it always challenges me to come up with something different each time.  Hope you have a great weekend!  My middle son has his first band competition this Saturday, another rite of fall, and I always look forward to them. Busy season for all and never a dull moment but then what fun would that be!!

Blessings

Autumn Harvest

Hey,

Hope everyone is having a great week.  It appears that fall is approaching and I myself am ready for it to get here.  This was the card I made for the ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration this week.  I love the fall images and working with all the fall colors.  I hope everyone has a great weekend! Blessings.

Falloween Cat

Hey,

Hope everyone is having a good week.  Busy one here for our bunch. Back to work for me, marching band in full swing for my middle son, work and college for my oldest and my youngest is settling in to middle school and seems to really be enjoying it.  No wonder I like the summer break....at least for a little while we are not running in so many different directions.  We went to see the band preview tonight and it looks like a "superior" season is in store for them this year.  They are doing a great job!!

Enough about my crazy life and back to the card for this week.  The very adorable falloween cat from Delightful Inspiration.  I am so ready for some cooler weather and so it is nice to work with fall colors again.   I love the digi it is so cute and I am a sucker for cats.  I hope you like the card!  Have a great weekend. Blessings!

Maisie Belle

Hi everyone,

Flowers to Bloom

Hi!

Hope everyone is having a good week. It is just so hard for me to believe that school starts back this week. Where did the summer go??? Here is my card for this weeks ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspirations. I decided just to keep it CAS this week.  I love the digi, it can be used for so many different types of cards, which is always a huge plus.  Hope you like the card and everyone has a great week.  Blessings

Cupcake Mouse Girl

Hi!  Hope everyone is having a good week.  Here is my card for the ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration.  This is such a cute digi and I love that it came with both the boy and girl mouse, it makes it great for so many uses!  I have to admit though my did not come out like I wanted it to. :(  It was just one of those days when nothing went quite the way you had planned it in your head.  It is what I would call a brain lapse on my part, I just could not get it together for some reason. :)  You ever have one of those days!?!?!  I have one about three times a week I think sometimes. Still I love the digi and will make good use of it I'm sure.  Have a great week and blessings to all.

Delightful Inspiration Challenge

Hi!  Since we picked out our own digi choice for this weeks challenge, I chose this cutie.  It can be used for so many different themes and I just love the teddy bears expression.  I hope everyone is having a good week!
Blessings.

Christmas Snowman

Hi,  hope everyone is having a good week.  I really enjoyed this weeks ongoing challenge from Delightful Inspiration.  Especially since it was about my favorite time of year, CHRISTMAS.  I love everything about Christmas, the music, lights, decorations, cooking, just everything! I drive my family nuts!!:) I also love snow and snowmen so this was a really fun card to do.  I tried my best to forget how hot it really was as we are going through a record breaking heatwave!! I am ready for a cool break myself. :)  Hope you like my card and if you haven't ever joined us for the progressive challenge be sure to pick up the freebie at the beginning of the month and join us, it is alot of fun! Have a great weekend.  Blessings.

Strawberries

Hi, hope everyone is having a great week.  We took our boys to the beach for a few days and really had a nice time.  Hot. but nice!  I missed getting to work on my cards but it was a nice break too.  I had fun doing this weeks challenge for Delightful Inspiration.  The strawberries were the perfect digi for paper piecing!!  I thought it came out really cute. I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Blessings.

Flip Flops

Hey, hope everyone is having a great week!  Hopefully you haven't melted into your shoes, it has been so hotttt!!!  At least we finally have gotten a little rain, YEA!!!!  Here is my card for this weeks ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration. A very cute summer scene that makes me ready to see the beach and lucky me is heading there in a couple of days!  I hope everyone has a nice weekend and try to stay cool. Blessings!!

Tropical Summer

Hey,

Hope everyone is having a good week.  Here is my entry for the Delightful Inspiration ongoing challenge this week.  I am trying my hand with my new Promarkers.  Not really thrilled with the outcome but I have only done a couple of things with them so far.  They were a birthday gift from my husband and kids and I have always wanted to try using alcohol markers, I knew there would be a learning curve. :)  I don't think I could ever give up my Prisma colored pencils!  I just enjoy trying new mediums.  Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th and remember our past and present military for all the sacrifices they make for us all!! Blessings

Fresh Cut

Hope everyone is having a great week.  I love the digi from Delightful Inspiration this week, but I am a sucker for flowers anyway. :) I just wish we would get some good soaking rain so my flowers will do something, they are looking really sad right now.  Thats the way it goes, some people are dealing with floods and some of us are looking toward the sky and praying for rain!  It has been another busy week and I haven't even started on most of the projects I have planned for the summer.  The really sad thing is I have had almost zero time for working on cards. Where does the time go.................  Hope everyone has a great weekend. Blessings!!

Fun flowers!

Hi! Hope everyone has had a good week and enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend.  Always in our prayer for our servicemen and their families and the sacrificies they make.  We are blessed to have such brave men and women.  Busy week here, we attended the marching band banquet Tuesday night, always a lot of fun.  Our two oldest sons have both been in band since middle school and we have really enjoyed it, lot of work but a lot of fun too!  Then the ever fun EOG retesting at school. :( Thankfully tomorrow will be the last day and the last day for me to work.  Kind of mixed feelings about that, I am looking forward to be off for the summer, but the big question is will I have a job next year?  Only time will tell and I will just have to pray that everything will work out.  Sadly, several have already lost their jobs as the budget cuts are looming over our heads.  Our oldest son is graduating this coming week, man do I feel old!!! :) So along with my card for the ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration, I have also included a picture of the card I made for him.  We are proud of all three of our boys and wish for them all the best that life has to offer.  I hope everyone has a great weekend! Blessings
