Hi!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was busy as usual but very nice.  Now the push for Christmas is on!!!  First things first, here is my card for the ongoing challenge for the CDAC progressive challenge.  Alot of cute images but sadly my craft time has been minimum lately so I only had time to get 1 card ready.  Hope you like my choice. Hope everyone is having a great week! Where has Oct. gone, almost halfway through the month and before I turn around it will be Thanksgiving, then Christmas.  Whew.....I need to get alot of things done.  I loved the digi this week from Delightful Inspirations.  It is such a lovely tribute and reminder for all of us to never give up hope.  I know way to many people that are in different stages of fighting breast cancer and this will be a lovely digi to use on a card for them.  Thank you Faith! I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming weekend and stay safe!! Blessings.

Here is my entry for CDAC ongoing progressive challenge. I really loved all the images and am trying to find time to make cards using all of them.  My problem is this time of year my craft time is kinda limited.  Between work, school, church and marching band I don't have enough hours in the day.  Hope you like my card and everyone has a great weekend. Happiness Blooms

Good Evening,

Hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying the cooler weather.  As much a I enjoy warm weather, I was really getting tired of 90's everyday!!  With the arrival of fall, I look forward to cool crisp days and the changing of the leaves.  Of course I will be ready for spring by the end of Feb. ;) A change of season is always special and I hope everyone finds something to enjoy!  Here is my card for the ongoing challenge at Delightful Inspiration this week.  I did start out paper piecing this one but I didn't like the way it came out so I started over with just coloring the image instead.  As much as I enjoying piecing one I just couldn't get this one to turn out the way I wanted it to.  If you like the image be sure to check out Delightful Inspiration on the first Friday at the beginning of the month and you will have a chance to pick up a free image and join the ongoing challenge if you enter a card every week.  I love all their images and it always challenges me to come up with something different each time.  Hope you have a great weekend!  My middle son has his first band competition this Saturday, another rite of fall, and I always look forward to them. Busy season for all and never a dull moment but then what fun would that be!!

Falloween Cat

Hope everyone is having a good week.  Busy one here for our bunch. Back to work for me, marching band in full swing for my middle son, work and college for my oldest and my youngest is settling in to middle school and seems to really be enjoying it.  No wonder I like the summer break....at least for a little while we are not running in so many different directions.  We went to see the band preview tonight and it looks like a "superior" season is in store for them this year.  They are doing a great job!! 

Enough about my crazy life and back to the card for this week.  The very adorable falloween cat from Delightful Inspiration.  I am so ready for some cooler weather and so it is nice to work with fall colors again.   I love the digi it is so cute and I am a sucker for cats.  I hope you like the card!  Have a great weekend. Hi,  hope everyone is having a good week.  I really enjoyed this weeks ongoing challenge from Delightful Inspiration.  Especially since it was about my favorite time of year, CHRISTMAS.  I love everything about Christmas, the music, lights, decorations, cooking, just everything! I drive my family nuts!!:) I also love snow and snowmen so this was a really fun card to do.  I tried my best to forget how hot it really was as we are going through a record breaking heatwave!! Bugaboo Christmas in July Day 5

Well, as so often happens in my life the week got away from me and I never got all my cards finished.  I had my snowman for Thursdays challenge all colored but did not have time to get the card put together. :(  Oh well, that is just the way it is. I did get this one put together earlier in the week so at least I had 3 of the 5 ready so that is really good for me. :)  I  really enjoyed this challenge from Bugaboo, as anyone in my family can tell you I am a bit of a Christmas nut, so this challenge was so much fun for me!!!!
