Next stop.....FALL!

 

Well I knew it was coming and it is almost here!  Tonight was open house at school and next week the fun begins.  I can't believe my middle one will be a senior this year and my baby is going into the 7th grade.  Boy, do I fell old tonight. :)  Knowing that fall is just around the corner I have tried to get started on some fall cards ( Halloween and Thanksgiving too!)  I know when marching band get into full swing I will lose more of my craft time and so I better get busy.  I hope everyone with school age kids are ready for the rollercoaster and that they all have a great year. Long time no see!!

Gee.....I can't believe how long it has been since I posted anything.  The second half of the school year was just wide open and it seemed I could not find time to get hardly any craft time in.  I struggled just getting cards made for the everyday things I needed and that left no time to join any type of challenges.  I missed doing challenges because I always find them fun and they push me to try different things! I have really struggled with finding my muse lately and even this summer with being out of school, I have done very little craft time. :(  I keep hoping that things will come together and I will get back in the swing of things.  I have tried to keep up with the fun things that have been going on in the crafting world and I am always amazed at the beautiful cards and neat ideas that everyone come up with.  I hope to get back into a regular craft time and try some of the new ideas I have been seeing.  I do have a few new cards that I will be posting and I hope to start back into some of the wonderful challenges that are out there.  I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!  Blessings to all.

Good Afternoon!

Well I cut it to the wire getting my card ready for this challenge!!!  It seems like I never have time to play with all the holiday events we have piled up on the calendar.  I finished my card just a few minutes ago and as soon as I post it I have to go get ready for the our community orchestras Christmas program ( my middle son is a member), we leave straight from their to the Deacons supper at our church, then tomorrow the same son is in the youth's Christmas program at church.  I don't know about  anyone else but all the extras at Christmas is what wears me out?!?!?  I don't think we have but just a couple of nights during the next 3 weeks that we don't have to be somewhere for something!  It is all fun but it sure take it out of you.  I hope you like the card and thanks again to Sandi and Anne for sharing their wonderful talent with us!  I hope you all have a great weekend! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was busy as usual but very nice.  Now the push for Christmas is on!!!  First things first, here is my card for the ongoing challenge for the CDAC progressive challenge.  Alot of cute images but sadly my craft time has been minimum lately so I only had time to get 1 card ready.  Hope you like my choice.
