Wedding Weekend

It was a fun but busy weekend for our family as we had to take a 12hr. car trip to FL for our nephews wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we are so happy for the sweet couple as they begin a new life together. I love going to visit my Sister-in-law and her family but the long road trip really wipes you out. We always just drive straight through instead of stopping and spending the night somewhere. It helps that my husband and I split the driving time but it still is an all day ride. We went down Thurs. in order to be there for the rehearsal dinner on Friday night and then the wedding was on Sat. It was a gorgeous day and since this was an outdoor wedding that was REALLY important!! Then it was packup and head home on Sunday. I was picking at our other nephew telling him someone in this family needs to get their pilot license so they can just fly everyone back and forth. He said that was fine but who was going to buy the plane!?!? :) Oh well, I thought it was worth a shot. Anyway on to the card.....I made this card for the happy couple and I really enjoyed putting it together. I thought it came out really well and I was pleased with the finally result. Fresh Cut

Hope everyone is having a great week.  I love the digi from Delightful Inspiration this week, but I am a sucker for flowers anyway. :) I just wish we would get some good soaking rain so my flowers will do something, they are looking really sad right now.  Thats the way it goes, some people are dealing with floods and some of us are looking toward the sky and praying for rain!  It has been another busy week and I haven't even started on most of the projects I have planned for the summer.  The really sad thing is I have had almost zero time for working on cards. Angel Caroline

Here is the card I made for Designed 2 Delights weekly challenge using the adorable Angel Caroline.  I thought she was just too cute!  I loved both images but I chose the one with her eyes shut and I used the flowers that came with the image and the heart also, (it is on the inside).  I had a lot of fun making this card, it was such a happy image and I like that!! Hope everyone has had a good week and a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
