Flutterby Fairy!

Well, the name says it all! This weeks ongoing challenge for Delightful Inspiration is this adorable fairy. She is a cutie and I had fun working with her. The only problem was that I was to the wire finishing this week, (busy week around here!) I had to take the picture after dark and the light was terrible. I really wish you could see the pretty sparkle on my fairy.  She has the bling going on!!  Thanks to Delightful Inspiration for the adorable image and since it is the beginning of the month the challenge is open to anyone this week and you can play along.  Come join us, it is alot of fun and they have such adorable images every week.  I hope everyone has a blessed week!

Flowers and Bullfrogs!

Hi, here is my card for the ongoing challenge on Delightful Inspiration.  It is a really cute digi and it makes you think of summertime!  It has been a challenging time for our town these past 12 days and we are looking toward the future with much hope.  On April 16th the southern end of our county was hit by an F3 tornado, this was the first time a tornado of that magnitude has hit here as far back as history has recorded.  We have suffered our share of damages from much smaller tornadoes, hurricanes spinning inland and bad ice storms, but this was something we had never encountered before.  We know that we were lucky that only 2 lives were lost and we are greatful to the Lord for that, especially after the storms that hit Alabama and others last night. Our hearts and prayers go out to all that were impacted by these storms and we can only pray that this will be the end of the violent storms this spring. We forget sometimes how quickly our lives can be altered until something like this happens!  May you all have a blessed weekend!

Balancing Act

Had to do my card for the Delightful Inspiration early this week!  With spring break this week we have a ton of things going on and I was afraid if I didn't get it done today it might not happen at all.  It is such a cute image and I love the ladybugs.  I hope everyone has a really great weekend !!

Teddy Bears!

I love images of teddy bears and here are a couple of cards I have made using different bear images.  I love my Bentley Bear stamps and I chose these two for these cards.  I just think Bentley is so cute and he is a joy to work with.  Hope you like!

Garden Party!

I will always think of Ricky Nelson when I hear Garden Party, oh my, I am really showing my age today. :)  This is the adorable digital stamp provided by Designed Inspirations for the on going challenge this week.  It was such a cute image and I loved working with it.  I had the most fun picking the paper to go with it as I almost always color my image before I start to put the card together. I know some people like to color the image after they have decided on exactly what colors they will use, I just love to color first and figure out everthing else later.  I hope you like my choices.  Have a blessed week!

Hi!

Just a couple of cards I finished up this week that I wanted to share.  I did both the cards with colored pencils (my favorite) and the images are from Digisparkle and J Maurie Manning.  Hope everyone is having a good week!

Spotty Dotty Watering Can!

I love watering cans and this one is really cute.  Not to mention the butterflies.  This is for the on going challenge at Delightful Inspiration.  You can always join in by starting with the free image given once a month or purchasing the image from their site, it is a lot of fun and they have wonderful images!
